Yoshiki Fukuyama even sang the theme to the (then) upcoming Macross Dynamite 7 theme " Light the Light". The final performance was by Fire Bomber, who sang the pivotal " My Soul For You", " Power To The Dream” and “ Try Again". The Macross Plus segment began, with Yoko Kanno and Akino Arai performing " Voices", then Hiroko Kasahara sang two songs from Super Dimensional Fortress Macross II: Lovers Again.

Shortly afterwards, Mari appears on-stage and exclaims, "Today, call me Minmay-chan, it is good." She then played the piano and sang classic Lynn Minmay songs such as " Sunset Beach" and " Do You Remember Love?" Like many Mari concerts, she sang an original song, 1996's "A Crescent Moon Canoe" (also the ending theme to TV Tokyo's Nerawareta Gakuen). The concert began with a long video showing the opening and endings to every Macross-related media at the time, including Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Super Dimensional Fortress Macross II: Lovers Again, Macross Plus, Macross 7, Macross Digital Mission VF-X and The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love? (Game). It is a highly commercialized event, and merchandise tie-ins were available for fans who attended. The key visuals are by Haruhiko Mikimoto.
Mari Iijima was noted as a special guest, having flown from Los Angeles, and tickets sold out quickly.

Macross One Night Stand is a 15th anniversary crossover concert event organized by Victor Entertainment for Macross 15th Anniversary, and featured artists from various Macross series over the decades.
